Real estate is one of the biggest and most expensive investments you will ever make. That’s why you need the right mortgage.
As a licensed mortgage broker, I help people from all walks of life, professions, and financial backgrounds find the right mortgage for their situation. Whether first-time home buyers, investors looking to buy a rental property, new Canadians, individuals seeking refinancing options, self-employed business owners, or people with a poor credit history, I guide clients of all kinds through this complex process.
Having bought and sold many houses throughout my adult life – including three new builds – I know a thing or two about residential mortgages, construction, and negotiation. I love to share this knowledge and expertise with my clients, advising them on what steps to take to qualify for a mortgage to achieve their home ownership goals – including recent newcomers who are eligible under the New to Canada Program. Along with explaining the ins and outs of mortgages, I enjoy educating people on the importance of good credit and how to improve or rebuild their credit history.
Prior to joining Mortgage Alliance in 2018, I worked at BMO as a Mortgage Specialist. At that time, my husband Reno was working for Mortgage Alliance as a Mortgage Agent, and after a while, I decided to join him. We now work together as team leaders and supervisors for Mortgage Alliance – Ontario Approval Team.
My other past work experience includes selling plumbing and heating supplies to contractors and working as project coordinator for the largest mechanical contracting company in Canada. Working in their commercial heating and plumbing business, I was responsible for document control, equipment sourcing, reading mechanical specifications and drawings, technical support for on-site offices and managing payroll. This experience – plus several courses I completed in commercial construction – have given me additional valuable technical knowledge to my role as mortgage broker.
In my personal life, I love reading, travelling – especially cruising – helping people, and spending time with my husband Reno, son and daughter, and granddaughter. I’m a member of the Kingston Yacht Club and a proud living kidney donor.
A proud member of Mortgage Professionals Canada, I consider myself to have the most rewarding career. I get to help people and get paid for it. My many years of industry experience ensure my success in finding the right mortgage for each of my clients.
I am a strong believer in customer service, answer my own phone, and am always available. My clients trust me because I take the time to listen to their story. I’m interested in learning your story, and how I can help you find the best mortgage solution for your needs.

A Proud Living Kidney Donor
In August 2011, I applied for a mortgage with TD Bank to buy a new build home. Reno, who later became my husband, was the mortgage specialist I was dealing with. He declined my application because I was carrying too much debt for the income I was earning. He advised me to sell one of my properties to qualify for a mortgage. I did just that. We met again in November of the same year at my home builder’s show home, and we started dating shortly thereafter.
In June 2014, Reno’s kidneys were starting to fail. He had to decide between kidney dialysis or a transplant – the latter a potential 10-year wait. In March 2015 I made the decision to get tested to see if I was a donor match. We married in June 2015 and a few months my test results came back confirming I was a perfect donor. On September 8, 2016, Reno received my left kidney, and we became one. Being able to help my soulmate that way was one of the best days of my life. I like to joke that Reno turned me down for a mortgage and I gave him a kidney!
